Sales Associate (German Speaking) AHK 17-027

 

About the Company:

Our client is an award winning organisation, headquartered in Cork.

The hiring company is looking for a highly motivated Sales Associate who will specialize in identifying qualified leads from marketing activity and cold calling to generate new pipeline for the sales force. Successful candidates will work on specific marketing and regional campaigns with various sales teams in the country (e.g. field sales, internal sales) to maximize the Customer Experience. This role will be a contract role with a view to being promoted a permanent inside sales role.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Follow up and qualify new prospects from marketing-generated leads
  • Prospect, qualify and develop new prospects to appointments
  • Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest and obtain business requirements. Work closely with Inside Sales team to determine strategic approach
  • Build and develop initial customer relationships
  • Meet or exceed assigned lead metric goals
  • Manage and document lead cycle in CRM system
  • Promote, develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of client products and services, industry trends, and competition Produce reports as necessary

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years outbound sales experience
  • College degree or equivalent work experience
  • Proven success at meeting targets
  • A natural ability with and interest in technology
  • Fluency in German and English
  • Credible follow-up and cold calling experience to multiple executive levels in an organization
  • Successful experience in Lead Development preferred
  • Technology or similar industry experience preferred
  • Sales training, Salesforce.com experience a plus

Personal Specification & Competencies:

  • Outbound, proactive cold-calling
  • Pre-call planning, structure and control a call, time and territory management
  • Accurate data entry and management of leads in a CRM system
  • Ability to multi-task and operate successfully in a rapidly changing environment
  • Experience and success working within a lead quota, and MBO or commission structure
  • A team player with the ability to work in a high-energy sales team environment
  • Excellent phone, listening, and writing skills
  • Proficient with standard corporate productivity tools (email, voicemail, MS Office)
  • Basic understanding of computing technology and comfortable discussing technology with customers
