GlobalConnect in Stuttgart

06.08.2014

As a Forum for Exports and Internationalisation, GlobalConnect provides companies with answers to all questions relating to international trade from 4th to 5th November. The information ranges from planning the first steps in international markets to the optimisation of existing international business activities.

The focus of GlobalConnect is on internationalisation and thus the expansion of entrepreneurial activity on international markets. The trade fair, the trade fair forum and the GlobalConnect Congress with around 100 presentations, best-practice examples and podium discussions on international trade, are waiting to welcome the visitors. Within the framework of the International Consultancy Days (IBT) and the Enterprise Europe Network cooperation exchange, visitors can arrange a personal meeting with representatives from over 40 international chambers of commerce, private consultants and service providers for export activities at the trade fair.

The GlobalConnect Congress provides information on foreign markets of various regions and on current themes. Regardless of whether visitors wish to get to know new countries and markets, or obtain information on promotion and financing, merchandise management, success through joint ventures or starting up in foreign business - at GlobalConnect, no questions regarding exports and internationalisation will remain unanswered. Over 180 foreign trade experts will impart practical knowledge on both trade fair days, and share their experiences in foreign trade with the visitors.

Within the framework of GlobalConnect, Forum for Exports and Internationalisation, the GlobalConnect Award is presented each year the event is held. This prize rewards small and medium-sized enterprises for their activities abroad and for outstanding entrepreneurial achievements. With the GlobalConnect Award, the event organisers of GlobalConnect make clear that excellent concepts for foreign trade are worthwhile. The aim is to motivate companies to become more active internationally, and thus strengthen Germany as an export location.
