Showcase 2014

On the 27th November, the German-Irish Chamber of Industry and Commerce presented as part of the Showcase – made in Germany – Event in Dublin five pioneering projects – all Irish low energy buildings featuring German innovation.

It was a great opportunity to award successful German-Irish partnerships which have led to increased building quality, reduced energy cost and lower CO2 emission levels for Ireland.

The five innovative projects which are being presented in the framework of this “Showcase” project have all been completed in the last two years and presented Ireland as an attractive location for German companies seeking concrete partnerships and market opportunities.

Those five pioneering projects with German energy efficient technologies in Irish buildings are the radiant ceiling heating system from FRENGER, Abbott Nutritional International manufacturing installed a compressed air system by Kaeser Kompressoren SE, a Waterkotte Ground Source Heat Pump System, a low energy Eco certified Passive House by pro clima and lastly and CHP units for a block of 100 apartments in Dublin.
