- 14:15
Goethe Institut, 37 Merrion Square East, Dublin 2

In times of considerable uncertainty, German-Irish relations are experiencing a renewed sense of importance.

Considerable political, diplomatic and economic efforts are being undertaken to further deepen and broaden the links between the two countries. Against this backdrop, an initiative has developed to organise an inaugural meeting of the DAAD alumni in Ireland.

This meeting should provide an excellent opportunity to make new connections with personsfrom diverse areas of expertise and to renew old friendships. Based on the level of interest in this meeting, further steps towards the creation of a more formal alumni network could be considered.

Olivia Hausen (PR) will represent the German-Irish Chamber in the panel discussion.
