What you will do

DEinternational in Dublin regularly offers internships in its Marketing Department to interested and motivated students within the following areas of activity:

  • Individual Market Consultancy Market Information
  • Business Partner Mailings Advertisement / PR
  • Trade Missions Event Management
  • Business Presence / Representation
  • Assistance of new business development

Job requirements:

  • Ideally degree or diploma level in a relevant area of study
  • Previous practical experience
  • Good knowledge of the German and English language
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team 

Events & Membership (starting February/March)

Your tasks:

  • planning, organisation and controlling of all Chamber events e.g. Business Luncheons, Golf Outings, Networking Events, Oktoberfest, Member’s night
  • planning, layout of the Chamber’s newsletter
  • helping to acquire new members and administration of member data
  • assisting in acquisition of patrons and sponsors for events

Job requirements:

  • Ideally degree or diploma level in a relevant area of study
  • Previous practical experience
  • Good knowledge of the German and English language
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Excellent communication skills Ability to work as part of a team
  • Available for a minimum period of 4 month

Accounting (starting asap)

Duties include the assistance of the Accounting department with

  • The Processing of accounts receivable and payable information such as entering sales, purchases invoices into Sage 50 Accounts
  • Cash management
  • Account Reconciliations
  • Reporting of VAT return
  • Correspondence with clients in Ireland and Germany
  • Research activities
  • Project work
  • Administrative tasks within the Chamber

Requirements

  • Business / Finance student with good results
  • Organization skills, flexibility to manage multiple tasks
  • Attention to detail
  • Time Management skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Team Player
  • Fluent communication skills in German and English
  • Knowledge of accounting system is an advantage
