Service Account Manager

Location: Kilkenny (Full-Time, Permanent)

Bausch + Ströbel Ireland is actively seeking a dynamic addition to its team! As an integral part of our international family business, with over 50 years of excellence in the pharmaceutical industry, we are on the lookout for a dedicated Service Account Manager to manage our local customer service team.

Your Responsibilities:

As a Service Account Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our valued customers within the target market, playing a pivotal role in advising, supporting, and fostering their development. Your primary duty will be to ensure an unparalleled service experience for our customers. This involves advising and supporting our customers, as well as coordinating all customer service activities between the customer, specialist departments in Ireland, and those at our head office in Germany.

  • Act as the first point of contact for all customer inquiries post a successful SAT (Site Acceptance Test), involving relevant departments at the site and head office.
  • Assume responsibility for customer satisfaction, support, and development.
  • Engage in active service sales and lifecycle consultancy, including follow-up on quotations.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts (e.g., SLA).
  • Serve as an external escalation point for all customer concerns, initiating internal actions and escalations as necessary.
  • Capture and communicate customer and market requirements to Service Product Management.
  • Support sales in general service-specific issues, such as URS handling, contract management for new machine projects, and presenting the service product portfolio.
  • Conduct regular customer visits.
  • Participate in trade fairs, encompassing preparation, active participation, and follow-up.
  • Ensure the achievement of annual target order intake and planned revenue increases.
  • Act as an extended project team member for new machine projects, particularly during the installation phase.
  • Collaborate closely with customer service staff at the head office.
  • Provide coaching and technical support to local colleagues (e.g., Customer Service Administrator).

Your Qualifications:

  • Completed technical studies or equivalent knowledge (e.g., technical business economist).
  • Previous experience in customer service within (specialised) mechanical engineering is advantageous.
  • Strong customer focus with an affinity for customer service.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Confidence in customer interactions.
  • Organisational skills and the ability to efficiently coordinate all customer concerns.
  • Willingness to travel for business.
  • Team player with the ability to work in an international environment.
  • Business fluency in English (German language skills are an advantage).

Field Service Engineer

Location: Kilkenny (Full-Time, Permanent)

 

Bausch + Ströbel  is looking for reinforcement for its team! As part of an international family business with more than 50 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, we are looking for a dedicated Field Service Engineer to support the local customer service team in a variety of activities related to our customers.

Your Responsibilities:

To ensure prompt and flexible support for machinery at customer sites, we are establishing and expanding a dedicated team of service technicians.

  • Perform installations, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and modifications in accordance with customer requirements and established standards.
  • Effectively communicate challenges to technical support and implement on-site workarounds.
  • Conduct operator training and offer assistance to customers during production and shutdowns.
  • Foster ongoing customer satisfaction by addressing recurring issues.
  • Collaborate with the sales department to identify sales opportunities and actively participate in trade shows.

Your Qualifications:

  • Completed technical training as a mechatronics engineer, industrial mechanic, electronics engineer, or possess comparable knowledge and skills.
  • Substantial experience as a service engineer with a focus on complex specialized machinery.
  • Proficiency in English is mandatory.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%, demonstrating high flexibility, personal responsibility, and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Following a familiarization period in Germany, Ilshofen, the service assignment can be conducted remotely. The training period spans approximately 3-6 months, contingent on experience.

Country Manager-Solar PV O&M

Location: Wexford, Ireland (Full-Time, Permanent)

Your Responsibilities:

Your Profile:

  • Industry Expertise: Several years of hands-on experience within the solar-PV industry in Ireland.
  • Leadership Acumen: Proven experience in building teams, businesses, or business units in dynamic environments.
  • Autonomous Drive: A self-driven work ethic coupled with the ability to thrive in cross-functional and geographically diverse teams.
  • Action-Oriented: A hands-on mentality with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Renewable Energies, Business Management, or a related field.

Assistant in Passport and Visa matters for the Legal and Consular Section

The Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany is seeking to recruit an Assistant in Passport and Visa matters for the Legal and Consular Section

Start of employment: 1st September 2024

 

Responsibilities will include:

- Acceptance and IT supported processing of passport and visa applications up to the decision-making stage

- Advising customers at the counter - Providing verbal and written information

- Correspondence with authorities in Germany and Ireland

 

Applicants should have the following qualifications and experience:

 

- Very good knowledge of German and English (spoken and written)

- Leaving Certificate / Abitur or equivalent

- Several years of professional experience preferred – preferably in the field of administration and/or passport and visa matters

- Willingness to become operational and familiar with job-specific IT programs

- Ability to work in a team and under pressure with a focus on customer service

- Strong communication and intercultural skills

 

Due to increased customer volume during peak travel periods (public holidays, school holidays and immediately preceding days) a basic willingness to take personal vacation in a counter-cyclical manner is expected.

This position is full time with presently 39 hours per week. The monthly salary at entry level will be 3.071,- EURO gross.
