The Chamber’s annual trip to Germany will take place in Dresden from 23rd-25th May this year.
Over 35 patrons, members, and friends of the Chamber are set to take part.
Highlights included in the trip:
- Meetings at the Bundestag with MdB Dr. Joachim Pfeiffer, Spokesperson of CDU/CSU Committee for Energy and the Economy.
- Dinner with the President of Saxony Michael Kretschmer
- Company visits to German-Irish businesses such as Verband Sächsischer Wohnungsgenossenschaften e.V.
- Meeting with the President of the state parliament Dr. Matthias Rößler and representatives from the education sector (Lothar Bienst), economic sector (Frank Heidan), energy sector (Lars Rohwer), the CEO of the parliament of the CDU (Dr. Stephan Meyer) and their political group chairman Christian Hartmann.
